Bridgit

About Bridgit

Charity work is about people, not spreadsheets.

But right now, charity teams spend hours every week copying data between platforms, cleaning records that should just be there, and doing work a machine should be doing. That time should be spent building relationships and raising money for vital services.

Why we exist

Bridgit exists to make life easier for the people powering good causes.

Everything we build is designed to give charity teams back their time, energy and focus so they can spend it on the work that actually matters.

The research

We didn't start with a solution. We started with a question.

Our co-founder Sean was building a donation platform called Ripples, when he decided to run a research project. He asked charity staff across every role and every size of organisation what their biggest pain points were.

"Every single person said the same thing."

Systems not talking to one another. Data scattered across platforms. Hours lost to admin that a machine should be handling. That clarity shaped everything that followed.

The story

So we built it.

Sean joined forces with Bob and Mat to start solving the technical problem. Meanwhile, Rob was working at GivePanel, a fundraising platform he'd helped scale to millions in revenue, working alongside some of the biggest names in the sector.

Sean and Rob met at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising convention. They hit it off immediately about the scale of the problem and the gap in the market for something built specifically for charities. Rob joined the team, and Bridgit was born.

Not from a boardroom. From a shared conviction that the charity sector deserves software that truly understands it.

Our vision

We imagine a world where data admin doesn't stand in the way of doing good.

Because changing the world is hard enough already.
